Depending on the size of screen, you may be able to go to Home Depot or Lowes and find a range hood screen that is the right size or could be cut to fit. They usually have a large selection of shapes and sizes. For example:

I like this idea, then add a little duct tape to the sides so it slides in and out of the track easily.

I used some duct tape on the 4-edges of some universal AC mesh filtering material where I cut it to size and framed the edges with duct tape. Works well and super cheap.
