:huh:I HAVE AN 86 300 WEEKENDER. I KEEP THE SHORE POWER PLUGGED IN DURING THE WEEK, ONLY GO TO THE BOAT ON WEEKENDS, IS IT OK TO LEAVE THE AC INVERTER/CHARGER TURNED ON TO KEEP THE BATTERIES FRESH? DOES ANYBODY ELSE DO THIS?

Need more info. Is it a charger? Or is it an inverter that runs a AC charger?

I have a charger on my 87 300 Sundancer. It's a smart charger that senses the state of charge or the batteries, and charges them accordingly. It's OK to leave it turned on.

It is an inverter/charger all in 1 unit. May not be original but is the same as the original unit.

If you can post the name and model of the inverter/charger we might be able to help you. I have a Xantrex 1000 inverter charger with a link 1000 that controls the charger/inverter system. I can leave it on 24 hours a day the original charger will boil my batteries dry.
