Hi....main salon HVAC (Cruiseair)will not control temperature when in heat mode, it will start unit when temp. drops below setpoint but will not shut down unit when temp is reached and keeps heating until I manually shut off unit...Is there any trouble shooting that can be done? or does wall mounted thermastat/controller need to be replaced? Parts sources? thanks for help or advice..... Tom

Unplug the temp sensor located in front of return air filter (Bottom). Follow the grey wire and disconnect it and try again.

Have you cleaned your filters lately? If you haven't you mite start there first before buying parts

Agree, Check air filters.
Usually the first problem area.
Had same problem on my boat last year.
Watch over cycling, usually is indication.

What temperature does the display show as the cabin warms? Does the display update?

After bringing a thermometer to boat found the digital display was reading 12F low, lowered set point and it sort of controlled for a while then was up to its old tricks (of not shutting down) but I will check filters and unplug sensor as suggested.... the display does update and now its only about 6 degrees low now....thanks for the ideas!

I am having similar problems with mine. One of the techs I talked to who works on the Heating/AC Systems at our dealership says it is likely the temperature control unit itself. I haven't done anything about mine yet but before I order one from the parts guy I need to see if I can return the control unit if I find that isn't the culprit.
