Since we finally have a permanent slip I would like to run my A/C on dehumidifier mode when we are away from the boat. I have misplaced my manual when i was trying to read about this over the winter and can't remember the process. Can anyone give me a quick tutorial?

I can't recall my thermostat brand but i assume they are the same on boat in the same size range and era of my '05 260.

Thanks

I think you hold "fan" "heat" and "cool" at the same time and the unit will go into dehumidify mode.

Thanks for the quick responses. If i remember correctly the last time i tried this the fan was blasting on high. Is there a way to lower it or is that how it works?

For ours when the mode is first enabled the fan does run but not high. I believe it cycles through various settings every 4 hours??

I'm sure it depends on which unit it is. My SMX defaults to high circulation for 10 mins, then low fan during 30 mins of AC, repeating every 12 hours.

I set it to run much more often than that, depending on the season.

The system is incredibly adjustable, but the referencing the manual is often necessary.

I have the manual on PDF but it is too large to load on this site. Send me a private message with your email and I will send it to you.
