99 400 sundancer bridge clearance

Bill, are you thinking the DB?

Lobrim, in the 400da owners manual, which you can get from the searay.com website, it has this information.

I see it as 10'-1" from the waterline...Add three feet for radar and nav light and you're prob. good...

I can tell you when I was running bridges I was under 15', if I recall correctly....

Now I can tell you I went very slowly so I could backup if I made a miscalculation....Also keep in mind the antennas. You might need to lower them.

I don't see the 1999 owners manual but I do see the 1998. I assume they are the same. RIght?

Thank you!!

Several years ago I bought my 400DA from the UK to the Mediterranean all the way through the French Canal system.

They advertise 11 foot 6 inch clearance, I measured mine as 11 foot 3 inches and got through with about 2 inches of clearance.

The next step would have been to remove the radar dome, as it was only the VHF Aerial had to come off.
