Have updated the 5.7 in my boat from an '81 to a '97 with the Thunderbolt IV ignition system. It has been a pretty strait forward swap as far as the wiring goes but it does not have any provision that I can find in the harness for the shift interrupt or cutout switch. Does anyone know if I can just tap into the green/white wire from distributor to ignition module and run it parallel thru the switch to ground? All of the schematics I have found but one do not show this switch. Thanks in advance for any help.
