96 Sundancer 45, 407hp what engine is that

I am looking at a 1996 Sea Ray Sundancer 45, the add said 420 hp and NADA said 407 hp which is it and whose engines are those? The boat has only 750 hours. What kind of record do those engines have vs the Cat 3116?

Thanks that answers that the 420 is actually a 422 hp Cat 3208ta and the 407 is a cat 3126ta.

The HP numbers are somewhat confusing.....

Generally, the 3126-TA motors were offered in 350, 385 and 420HP versions. The most popular 3208-TA motors were offered in 375 and 435 HP.

My money is on the 3126. I have not seen 3208s in a 450 DA, but I guess they must be out there....

I find 3208 in a 1996 t0 1998 450 to be rare. All but one I have looked at were 3116 or 3126.
