I would appreciate some help from any one that has their 95-99 370 DA close to them that could measure the length, width and thickness of the sun pad filler cushion that snaps onto the top of the cockpit table. Mine was MIA when I bought the boat and I think I may have come across a replacement that will fit. Unfortuantly, I am 750 miles away from my boat right now.

Appreciate your help!

Thanks

Jon

Jon...... Unfortunately my 370 never came with that pad........it also didn't come with the jump seat just aft of the wet bar either. :( :(

If you need the size ( L X W ) of the cockpit table.....and the thickness of the aft seat cushion......let me know.

Its a long trip ( 20 steps ) to my boat.......but its NOT a problem ... :) :)

Don,

I had you in mind when I wrote this because I knew you were one of of these lucky guys with the boat in the back yard. Yea the dimensions of the table and the thickness of the cushion would be fine. I am missing that jump seat on the port side too as it was an option in 1995. At first I was sorry not to have it but over the years I have enjoyed having the extra space and not having to move the seat out of the way to get to that part of the engine room, plus the boat has pleanty of seating still.

What I found by the way is a cushion made to fit on the top of a cooler that is on clearance at the local Boatersworld. If it works I will let you know as they have more than one.

Thanks!

Jon

OK.....Jon.....These are the dimensions of the table......its 20 1/8 " wide X 39 1/2 " long.....with radious corners. Now the seat cushion behind the helm seat is 4" thick.

Yes I agree with you about not having that seat.....I put my 100QT cooler there and with a cushion topper......it works great.....and easy to move to gain acces to the storage compartments too.

Hope these dimensions help you......if you need any others.........feel free to ask.

Sure I want one, do you have an extra?

Jon

Jon,

Let me measure it when I get home from work to make sure it is what your after...............I also have the cushion for the bow (never used that one either), just want to make sure I'm not confusing the two of them. If you are converting your "U" shaped seating area into a sun lounge, I think you will also need the short pole to support the table...........I've got that to.

Although a good thing to have for resale, I've yet to convert the salon to a sunpad in 10 years of owning boats with that option/availability.....

I guess it's more of an outside bed for the kids at night..... kind of like camping out. As for sunning....to us, it was always so much easier to go up on the bow.

I had a 6' bow sun pad made....a few years ago......The pad looks good......the admiral loves it and uses it ALL the time. Worth every cent !!!

John,

I still have the short pole, all I need is the cushion. If you have one and are dont mind parting with it please PM me and let me know what you would take for it. Thanks for the help!

Dom,

I hear what you are saying but we had this feature on our 290 DA and used it all the time, you have witnessed my "crew" in action first hand, and I am sure you can understand why having them scrambling up on the bow without adult supervision is not a good idea.

Jon & Ron,

I'm sure I have both of these cushions, and I am willing to part with them, let me check them this evening and I will PM you guys. Never used either one of them, my wife is not one to lay in the sun all day, probably why she still looks great............hope she reads this......

Thanks John!

Yea, I have the same situation here with my wife and the kids, we try to avoid too much sun. When my canvas needs to be replaced (a few more seasons) I plan on extending the aft sun shade. I have saved the pictures of what you did with yours. I look foward to getting your PM, I will send you my company UPS account number so I can cover the shipping part that way.
