im getting the areas of coating failure on the arch. has anybody done a brushed touch up without removing the arch that has some success?

Is the arch aluminum? If it is and finished with Alwgrip, touch ups can be done and will be invisible to the eye. A technician on my boat took the arch finish down to bare metal when he let a tool on his belt brush against the arch. This was about a 6" gash at eye level where you board. He came back with a colleague and repaired it. To this day I can not spot the repair as it was blended and color matched perfectly. Not sure if it was brushed on or airbrushed. Hopefully your's is similar.

yes aluminum.... I was thinking sanding / feathering. do you happen to know the right color ? recommend the actual paint?
