Okay...I've got a new to me '92 290da. I cannot figure out how to convert the dinette to a bed. I have the filler cushions and have tried lowering the table to make the base but it does not fit no matter how I try it. I have searched the manuals, Sea Rays archives, and looked at pics on boattrader etc. Am I missing something ? This is driving me nuts !

maybe a halligan !

What Unit day are you on?? We may have covered that before but I can't remember. I'm on duty tomorrow (unit 2) should be a sporty shift given the current weather conditions. Nothing like driving 50,000 lbs Fire trucks in the snow and ice

I am currently assigned M-F 0800-1600...looking to go back on line 24/48 in the coming year.

Ouch, couldn't do it brother. I need my 24/48 especially during boating season. If I'm not on duty the next day my wife and I sleep on the boat.. Sorry to hijack your thread. Good luck with that dinette. I've never had to deal with that, prevoius boats had no dinette, new boat does but I've not had more than myself on board overnight. My wife left town the day after we signed the papers. in fact she only saw the boat the day of the signing then left town for the last 4 weeks of the boat season. by the time she returned she was winterized, shrink wrapped, and blocked at Flerlage for the LONG LONG winter

I own a '91 270 Sundancer and the dinette table fits snugly between the dinette seats on top of teak ribs screwed into each seat. Just have to be careful not to pinch seat material because it is a very tight fit. Hope this helps. Post a couple of pics if it doesn't and maybe that will help.

Hey, I just saw what I assume is your boat on the homepage. The dinette looks identical to mine and it looks like the right table, just try lifting the dinette cushions and the table should slip right down on those teak runners. Nice boat, by the way. Looks really well taken care of. The best modification I can suggest after owning mine for 4 years, get an extended swim platform from swimplatforms.com, you won't regret it.

nope table does not fit...comes close but is about 1/2 inch too wide. strange...maybe I need to give it a trim.

The seat back near the v-berth should also lift up and off to give you more head room. We enjoyed our 93 290 very much. Trailered it from Ontario to the Chesapeake Bay for many fun trips. Good luck with the new boat.
