Does anyone know where to get replacement AC and DC fuses as shown in the pictures below? I've searched on here, google etc etc. and haven't been able to find exact replacements....

As an aside, has anyone with the same, or similar, boat completely replaced the electrical panel with a modern one?

thanks.

What you are actually in need of is a "circuit breaker", not a fuse. That is likely part of the reason you can't find what you are looking for. Modern boats still use these - I would, personally, NOT want to replace them with fuses. Circuit breakers do go bad, and then they start to trip very easily. But, in general, they are preferred over fuses.

The two manufacturers that come to mind are Blue Seas and Paneltronics. I don't know what was used in your boat (and it might even be another manufacturer).

Try BOE Marine (Jim, the owner, is also the sponsor of this forum). The top left corner of this page has a link. If you can't find what you want, call him or email - with your picture. You (or he) will need to know what amperage the switch is. If it's not labeled (on the backside), check your manual - electrical schematics.

I have the same panel, so should you find the replacement breakers, please, let me know where

Somebody has already replaced those with the newer style breakers. They still use those, most likely your boat used to have a white one like this..

Thanks everyone. Sorry I meant "Breakers..." I know the difference just wasn't thinking! I've tried all of the places you guys suggest with no luck... I'll try calling BOE and see what they can do. Pietro, I'll let you know if I find them.... Thanks.

Maybe the difference is because at some point in my boat's history someone upgraded from the shore power from dual 30 amp to a single 50 amp.

Just thought of another manufacturer: Cole Hersee.

If you take out the bad one and stop by your local dealer (or email pics), they should be able to match it up for you. This won't be the cheapest way to go, but if you're stuck...

Thanks. Cole Hersee is, I think, the original manufacturer. I searched their site and couldn't find the same breakers. I'll do some more research tonight and report back. Thanks for all the responses.

If you can make out a model number on the back side, you might be able to cross-reference it to a replacement model. I don't know if you can do that via their website, you may have to contact them. Good luck.

By the way, what's wrong with it?

A few of them are worn out (flipping unnecessarily). Also adding some additional equipment that I want to run through the panel, and I would like to have some spares on hand....

That makes sense - and good idea.
