That is not fair - you can actually get to your stuffing boxes and adjust them without standing on your head!

Looks nice and clean.

Looks nice and clean... thanks for showing us...
Thanks

I thought I had inadvertently deleted the pics but looks like okay.

Although for some reason cannot view the pics in photo bucket. It shows the pictures uploaded by description however cannot see the actual pic. Not sure what I have done.

Thanks for the comment

Still cleaning work to do but gradually getting to where I want it.
Everything is wet due to power washing and scrubbing and still have a bit of elbow work to do in the bilge pump areas.
The stuffing boxes are very easy to access (the previous owner installed a small platform where the generator would normally sit) which makes a great spot for kneeling.
First year with this boat and lots of learning and adjustments to the stuffing boxes. Will be repacked before next season.
Best boat we have owned and love the big blocks.

Looks GREAT. I've seen almost new boats that didn't look that nice.

Wanna clean my bilge?

Thanks.
I certainly cannot take all the credit as a reasonably clean bilge is at the top of my must have list when I am shopping for a boat. I could be wrong but I figure if the owner puts the time and effort into a nice clean well organized engine bay, he really cares about the boat.
I have seen "Beachcomber" pics in many of your posts and simply love your boat. But, I will pass on the engine bay offer.

Thanks very much
Ken

Nice and clean! I have my engine out so a bilge "redo" is in the mix. It's not all that bad, but new paint and some straightening up of things can't hurt.

Bilge looks good. Seeing a nice clean bilge is almost more enjoyable than a nice clean exterior!

I was actually considering trying to repaint in a lighter colour. One of our slip neighbour's 2007 310 looks like a formal dining room it is so bright and clean. Decided trying to paint around everything was a little more tedious than I wanted to take on at this point, so still scrubbing.
Thanks

Thankyou.
I am with you on this one. Also makes it much easier to spot new leaks, drips and so on. I am probably a bit anal about it and my vehicle engine compartments look the same.
Thanks
Ken
