I have a little history with this boat.......my father bought this new in 1988 as a compliment to his 50' Chris Craft. I ran this boat for a few seasons around 92-93 when we were in between boats (making babies and wanting a bigger house). I lost track of the boat a few years after that and he sold it before passing away in 2001. When we joined the yacht club where we are now 6 years ago, low and behold I find out my slip neighbor right next to me owns this boat. I made it perfectly clear when he was ready to unload that boat that I was buying it, and reminded him of that more then a few times. So, he finally sold it to me this past October, I was in the right place at the right time. It is in my heated garage at home and I've removed alot of stuff, pretty much none of it going back on. The boat was repowered in 2009 with a Yamaha F150, it has 152 hrs.

I will post some pictures and tell you what I've done so far and what I'm planning to do when I get home this evening.......hope to have everything done by early March..............then spring cleaning on the 370 starts, fun, fun, fun.

John,

Congratulations on the re-acquisition. Looking forward to seeing your progress. What a special boat to bring back in the family. I am sure you will have a lot of fun making new memories while cherishing the old. Bring her by in the spring!

Todd

Thanks Todd..........tried finding your place a couple times after I saw you at Hard Yacht, didn't see anything that resembled a broken down pier  Definetly hook up this season.

O.K......since football is officially over I can turn all of my attention to this boat.
I have done a few things:
Removed the boot stripes, registration numbers and all of the warning/caution stickers......only the registration stickers are going back on.
Removed all the bolsters and seat cushions, dropped them off to my canvas guy to be redone. He will also be doing a console cover and seat covers
Fiberglass guy is almost done filling in holes from items I've removed that aren't going back on, mounts for the bimini top, flip down drink holders, VHF mic holder, old 6x9 speakers, etc.
I couldn't get the underside of the hatches clean enough, so they were removed and painted with 2 coats of white Bilgekote, then reinstalled.
Cleaned up the battery storage compartment, painted it with gray Bilgekote, straightened up all the wiring.
Helm - removed everything except the throttle and the steering wheel. I'm having black acrylic dash panels made up, replacing the toggle switches with rocker switches and relocating them to the area below the tach. New Sony marine head unit will also go in this panel. Behind the helm a new fuse block will be installed along with new wiring for the rocker switches.
I have a pair of JL M7.7 speakers, JL 10" sub and a JL 500/3 amp ready to go in as soon as the fiberglass guy is done - he has made a hell of a mess in the garage.
Having some white acrylic panels made up for the sub woofer and the Raymarine chartplotter, as well as one to cover the hole left from the built in tackle box.
Boat is heavily oxidized, I did a little test area and it is going to bounce back nicely, CSR member "hack4alivin" has volunteered to help with that.
Installing a new T-top and painting the bottom black, will wait until early spring so I can pull the boat outside.

I'm sure I missed a few things, once the new stuff starts going back on I will post some pics

Looks like a great winter project. You sure have a nice garage to work in anyway. I like the Yamaha powerbut its too bad the PO didn't pony up for an f200.

My condolences on the Raven's unfortunate loss, I really thought they had that one.

Go Packers!
