'88 amberjack head

Hello,
I have an '88 270 amberjack that i just purchased and i have a switch labeled "head" in the head. Does anybody know what this switch is for? I flipped it on and off and i didnt notice anything happening. thanks for any help.

That should be a light switch. Sounds like your bulbs are burned out.

Mine has a fan in it, but if the switch in the head is not on it does not go. Prob. a light switch though. Burnt bulbs or the lights in the head are turned off in the head.
