I'm in the process of replacing my aluminum water tank with a poly tank and Im trying to figure out the best way to plumb the pickup/supply tube in the new poly tank. The old aluminum tank had a tube welded into it that went into the lowest corner of the tank. Wondering how others have done this with a plastic tank. Thanks

My factory plastic tank just has a fitting at the bottom of the tank. I'd prefer a pick up going in from the top though.

Ok. The way mine is mounted theres no way to plumb anything from the bottom. Thanks

When I replaced my tank a couple years ago I had them place all of the connections on the top, vent, draw tube, fill, and gauge. I installed a Dura-weld tank and was very happy, they are great to work with with regards to placement of connections and any questions you may have. I included a photo showing the placement.
