I can hardly shift this boat now. Finding neutral is a huge task. UGH. Is it the cable that i need to replace or is there a linkage back at the transom somewhere that I can lube?

I believe it might be the "kill system" on the engine. I played with it yesterday. The boat wants to skip past neutral and go into reverse. How do you replace just that?
