My bride and I have a nice old (1986) 300 Weekender, like all of you, we continue to throw perfectly good money into the old boat.
We have had it about three years, recent bottom paint, prop re-pitch and balance, now replacing all of the teak with Plasteak and a bunch of other items to improve the looks.
One issue is the rub rail is ugly, any advice on how to make it look good again?
Also, the windshield frame is ugly, anyone ever went so far as to take the frame out and blast / powder coat this? I'm willing to do it if I had a little more knowledge.

Thanks,

Joe in St. Pete

I am about to remove the window frames from my 88 300DA. I redid a Bayliner 2750 window frame a while back. Not too bad of a job. I sanded, filled pitts and rattle can painted with anodized (looking) silver. Turned out great! (Shot it with a clear coat, again, rattle can, after that for durability.
