Hi all. Im picking up an 85 seville that has been in storage most of its life. Getting from a family member that bought it new and has used it VERY little. The hour meter is at 52. Going to pick up a trailer for it tomorrow and hopefully get the boat one day next week. I'm sure I'll be on here with all kinds of questions.

Welcome aboard. Can't wait to see sum pics.

My buddy had an 84 Seville cuddy with the Merc 140 4 cylinder. It was a great boat all around, and lasted him for 10 years with very minor issues. Best of luck with yours!

Ill try to get some pics up tomorrow. I have ran int on the ear muffs and it ran good. All gauges work, trim, lights and it seems Ok for now. I found the original full bimini in the back. It has the play pen cover, bimini and even a rear enclosure. The plastic windows have yellowed some while in storage and I hope to find a way to clear them up. I also need some advice on cleaning the white top. It has some mildew in spots. I cleaned all the dirt dobbers out today and hope to wash it tomorrow.

Greetings. As Mike said the 80 340 thread is great. From my personal experience at cruise of 18 to 20 mph I burn 14 gal an hour. Say you can use 150 gals of the capacity thus gives you a range of roughly 200 miles. Not sure if this would get you as far as you need to go. I love the 80s 340 but not sure it's a loop boat.

mid cabin or cuddy? Post up some pics when you get her home.
