Hi all!
Got my charger/inverter problem solved (another post) thanks to all those who helped out.

At one time or another, the holding tank was pulled out of the boat - or at least the hoses/fittings to it were.

There's a thru-hull connector in the head, and a waste pumpout deck plate right outside the head, on the deck, but all the hoses were removed.

I'm clueless as to where the holding tank is/was on this boat. I can't find any panels that are screwed in anywhere that'd hold a tank.

I pulled the cushions in the mid-cabin and it doesn't look like there'd be any room for a holding tank there.

In the head, the floor's elevated a bit, but I don't see any way to get under there.

Anyone know where the tank is/was located? Previous owner never used or cared about it, they just emptied the port-a-pottie. I'l like to reinstall the tank, fittings, etc.

Thanks
Rick

I have a 1984 srv245 not sure if its in the same location but mine is right behind the helm seat. There is a small hatch forward of the large engine hatch. If you remove the small hatch its in that hold.

That's probably where it was, but previous owner used for storage. I'll bet if I pull all the stuff outta there, I'll be able to see where hoses, etc., were routed. Would LOVE to find a parts list/diagaram for this year.
Thanks
Rick

Ill try and take some pictures of mine and post.It might be a few days before I get to the Boot but at least it will give you an idea of where to start.

That'd be great! I did take a closer look down there, and it looks like something was in there at one time. Looks like I got a late-fall project on my hands!
Thanks
Rick

Thanks for the pics Chief. I spent the entire weekend on the boat tearing into things (much to the Admiral's chagrin) and couldn't find any holes and/or passeges where hoses like this would pass through into that area of my boat. I saw a pic online somewhere that showed my boat with a head that was hooked directly to the pump out hose, and I'm beginning to think that this is what my boat had at one time. I'll tell ya, with kids on and off that boat all the time, emptying the porta-potty is getting old quick.

Fall project number three is now on the list...

Thanks again,
Rick
