7.5 QuickSilver Generator Governor

I have a gas 7.5KW Quick Silver generator that will not hold a constant RPM. When put under load, the RPMs will drop as you increase the load. If you have a major drop in the load, the generator may over rev and the control board will shut down the engine. The governor appears to be not functioning properly. This is a centrifucal type governor. I have contacted Generac directly, the manufacturer, for a replacement governor, but that part in no longer in production. Does anyone know where to locate a used or rebuilt governor? Does anyone know of someone who rebuilds such a part. Generac part number 068985, Quick Silver part number 810711.
