7.4l mpi wont turn over

Ok guys gonna throw this out and see if anyone has some suggestions. My 7.4l merc wont turn over. I checked the switch and its good. Jumpered the starter yellow and red to red and starter works. Circuit breaker on motor is not tripped. Disconnected engine cannon plug and reseated didnt look like i had a problem there. Any ideas

Neutral saftey switch on the shifter??
Try moving the shifter some while attempting to crank.

Probably not but.....make sure it is not hydrolocked.

Tried this the other day to dont think that's it but thanks for the help.

Ok picked up slave solenoid today $20 from local shop. Easy install, about 10 min. Problem solved. Engine started right up. Thanks for the help
