I have a 1996 330 Sndancer. Ever scince puting 2 new long blocks in , my port engine will not restart after it sits for about 30 minutes, when hot only. I have replaced all i can at this point. Fuel pumps and lines, injectors, presure valve on rail and more. Has anyone had or heard of this problem?

I have, nothing quite fit my problem. Was hoping someone with similar model had the same problem solved allready. Its very rare with EFI s. Thank You.

Patty,

I don't have the same model, but I do have a temp gauge in my bilge. I run my blowers 5 min prior to start, while my engines/genny are running, and 15 mins after shutdown. the highest temp I've ever seen in my engine compartment is 109°F - on a 95°F day (the sensor is on top of the engines).

Have you checked your engine room temps?

Someone screwed up the install. Recheck that the correct components were used and routed properly.

So, there's either an epidemic of vapor lock, or it's like buying a black Lexus. Suddenly, they're everywhere......

When I break open the fuel line going into the electric fuel pump it starts up fine. That releases the vapor. I have also installed another electric fan that i keep running when in use. This has shortened my cool down time. Thank You for your reply.

I agree! My mechanic, who is unable to figure out the problem does not. Crazy! Thank You for your reply.
