I ran a search no luck. My 6 disc changer will not eject on my Clairion CMD5 system. Does anyone know if there is a manual eject or how to cure this?

When I press the eject button I hear it doing something but it will not eject. My wife put a disc in and it says error disc 2 and will not eject.

I had the same problem with my Clarion CD changer. I removed it and installed a new Clarion unit with Ipod control. Much better solution.

You might check the fuse, but if you hear noises it is probably getting power.

This one has the ipod jack and is controlled through the remote at the helm. Did you just scrap it? How did you get the cd's out.

Try cycling all power off, then back on. It's an easy fix if it works. If not, then try the rest.

Mine started doing that and it got worse and worse. Turned out to be an internal alignment issue. I junked it, bought a Pioneer Premier with wired remote and Ipod interface. Don't need a changer when I have over 10000 songs on tap with the Ipod.

This one has the ipod hookup so I am loading songs on my new ipod right now.

I've never had that issue in my boat:grin: Try swithching it with the one in the Bayliner:smt043 Oh man I could go on and on like this. But really on the changers when they start to go they don't tend to get better. I wouldn't put a disk in there that you want back. If it does stick for good the only thing to do is scrap the changer, take it apart and get your CD's out.
