Mine are straight too. The issue of straight vs. curved in the original build had to do with accessories. The port side sofa had an option for a sleep sofa. The sleep sofa version is straight, the non sleep sofa is curved. On the starboard side, I have a side table with two drawers forward of the sofa. To do this, the sofa was made straight. Without the side table, the sofa can curve toward the galley counter. I can't recall if I have seen any boats with one side curved and the other straight, but that's a possibility too.

Thanks!, ours has the pull out; but were past that stage of "boat guests", so have seen both port and SB curved, and yes on SB you end up loosing the end table; but a sacrifice were prepared for.
