The carpet in our cockpit needs to be replaced and we are debating on whether to go back with the carpet or try the synthetic teak (preferably the cool teak by plasdeck). On the website it says panels only. Do any of y'all have any experience with synthetic teak? How hard was it to install? How many square feet did y'all get? What did you use to adhere it to the floor?
Thanks, Shane

Shane,

Do a professionally installed synthetic teak and you'll never look back. My boat is covered with it and bridge is the only area that still has carpet, but I'm thinking that it's just a matter of time until I'll do the same teak there as well.

Alex, what synthetic teak did you go with? Does it get very hot in the summer sun?
Thanks!
