Hi All,
I am a new owner of a used 2018 460 Sundancer. It is a great boat so far.

I got a strange alarm today at the transom. It sounds almost like the hydraulic swim platform alarm. However, I cycled the swim platform and it is different.

Any ideas? Glendinning Cablemaster? Does it have an alarm?

Thanks,
Kirk

Kirk, you put this in the 500/520 forum so may not get as much attention as putting it as a new post in the general discussion forum. Weird alarm for sure. Mike

I love those sun shades. Any idea who to have install something like that?

Had mechanic out to change impellers, and the port side seacock isn't closing when the handle is moved to the closed position. Has anyone had this issue? I know I will need to haul the boat, but wondering if I need to plan to replace the seacock itself, or if there is a way to repair/adjust.

We had that issue on our previous boat. We were going to address it the next haul out (every 4 years). The only time we had an issue was at winterization. A work around was to use a new hose and "stove pipe" it to get it above the water line.

Can't replace the impeller without closing the seacock.

Winterization - as in it was too cold?

1A410E4B-91FF-458C-9A92-D339DFAAC9D7.jpeg I had mine rebuilt in 2017. Not sure exactly what they did but I don’t think they replaced everything. Starboard side started leaking where the sea cock meets the fiberglass so I had to have it redone again this winter.

Hey guys,
Anyone know if the guest stateroom bed is a regular queen sized mattress, and are the bunks twins? Boat is still in MD, bringing her up in a few weeks, but my wife wants to start ordering the bedding.
I'm OK with the custom stuff for the master stateroom, but would rather go something a bit more reasonably priced for the kids rooms!

The guest stateroom is an off size but full is the closest size to it. The bunks are smaller than a twin (narrower and shorter) but twin sheets work.

Does anyone know the exact dimension the prop shafts on the 06 52DB are spaced apart (center to center)?
The boat is coming out of the water in two weeks and we will be pulling the shafts and struts for a complete re-alignment. We noticed the last time the boat was out of the water that the shaft C-C at the props is 2 inches greater than the C-C at the couplers. So I think everything from the engines to the struts are wacked and needs correction. The thing I do know is the angles are to be 7 degrees down and we need to be centered in the logs (if the logs are correctly located).

I can measure on Saturday when I am at the boat if you don’t get an answer before that. 2” seems really far out of alignment.

Tom,

I would think that is something that you would need to get from Sea Ray. It’s hard to believe there is a 2” difference between the two. I’m curious what both the dimensions are. Best I can do it pull a dimension from coupler to coupler and compare to what you have.
