Done. Didn’t change the mains coming in. I might. Also one of the lines did NOT have a cone washer.

Does anyone have a good source for captain chair covers?
Had all our bridge covers made by GIOIA SAILS in Jersey they shipped to Fla and fit perfect they have the patterns for most Sea Rays or have a local canvas shop make em.
GIOIA sails palm coast FL (386) 597-2915
GIOIA Sails New Jersey. (732) 901-6770 ask for Paul Cawley

Joe,

when you say “all” I know gioia made the original front window covers and eisenglass. Did you have them remake those. What do you mean by “all”?

I called them last year and asked if they could do my eisenglass and they said they would have to come out and measure even though their tag was still on mine....

Gentlemen,

The diver who cleans the bottom of the boat said the hull strainer for the engine intake is missing. I had the bottom painted in may. Guess they didn’t do a good job reinstalling. Anyway does anyone have a part number?

as always thanks for the help.

steve

I suggest not using the ones that were on the boat and have the ones below installed. They are mfg. by Buck Algonquin. I believe I have model # 2352PF. These prevent any sea weed grass from entering the strainer. Before I had these put on, I once had to stop the boat on our way home from Key West as temps were rising. Had to shut each engine off and clean out the strainers which were packed with grass. There was so much of it, there was no avoiding it. Haven’t had to clean the strainers since they were installed 5 years ago.

AKA...South Bay Strainers

Us NY boaters know all about those strainers huh Brian?

Mac, I meant they recovered all of our bridge seating in ultra leather and made covers for them. The seats are all the same so they usually don’t have to measure where as the Eisenglass etc can be patterened in different ways for different tastes
We’re actually redoing the enclosure now with EZ2CY again (here inFLA) and the co. Is using (COD’s) enclosure as my template because we’re changing the entire look of what we have now.

Re-read macs post I’m not sure they keep a record of every piece they make my point was in the most popular pieces maybe but not all
I’m sure a local shop could bang this out for you anyway I just figured they could just ship and be done .

Joe,

so you have ez2cy making nee rise glass based on cod’s templates...that’s interesting. You and I have the same boat so I could potentially make the eisenglass for my boat off the same template? That would save a headache. How much they whacking you for that $4,000 project?

Are you working on the boat this weekend?[/QUOTE

we have ez2cy full enclosure now thats about 15 years old I’m guessing so it’s time for a new one . We’re sticking with this product as it’s proven it’s longevity already
I say using COD’S boat because they did his and will use the measurements they took of his. I wish it where $4k I’m sure it’s closer to $20k we’ll see
