I currently own a 2003 340 Sundancer and considering moving up to a 50 ft 2004-2005 Sundancer. We travel SE coast of Florida and Bahamas. Any opinions pro or con would be appreciated.

Welcome. The 2004/2005 500DA is a nice boat but not my favorite layout. Take a look at the 2001/2002 510DA, love that layout!

Good to hear. I like the layout but am concerned about the size of the port side stateroom. Is the bottom bunk wide enough for 2 adults or should it be considered an over size single.

We love our layout especially the cockpit. The port stateroom bottom bunk is a large single. We do have friends in their 50's that both sleep in it and another couple that one sleeps there and one on the coach in the salon. The top bunk is hard to get into, young adults, kids and storage. We love the master suite and that both heads have enclosed showers. The guest head is very roomy. We also love the headroom and size of the kitchen etc. All in mine is 57'3" with the hydrolytic swim platform.
