wonder if i can use the msd blaster -2 coil with the pertronics upgrade,this coil is not epoxy filled:huh:

I'm not sure, I looked at the pertronics site but can't remember how it's set up.

most marine coils are epoxy filled for some reason,maybe for extra durability. msd blaster-2 coils are rated about 40,000 volts,i believe,would be nice to use it and save 45.00 bucks. kind of on a budget with christmas coming and the admiral watching what i blow on the boat:smt089

I would assume for more moisture resistance.
