I did an oil change today and noticed a slight leak of maybe a drop or two coming from the oil drain hose, where it attaches to the oil pan. The fitting swivels freely and I was wondering if there might be a worn o-ring that needs replacing. Unfortunately, I had already refilled with the new oil when I realized there it a push-tab at the oil pan, that releases the fitting from the oil pan. Had I seen that earlier I would have pulled the fitting while the oil pan was empty. I suppose if there is an o-ring I can drain the oil again and do the o-ring replacement. Anyone with any experience with this?

I would try to tighten fitting a little first. Maybe O-ring got compressed over time?

There's no way to tighten it. It's held in by a spring-loaded catch. I wish it had a standard screw on fitting that you can tighten, and can add Teflon tape as needed. I'll keep an eye on it to watch that the leak doesn't get worse. I suck the oil out of that hose using a Jabsco pump, so it's a pretty easy job to drain the oil, should I decide to replace the o-ring, if there is one.
