I am in the process of replacing my DVD on a 2008 48DA and have the TV removed to unplug the DVD but I cannot get the cord through to the DVD player due to what I believe are the tie wraps on the wiring bundle . I assume you need to remove the trim panels above the TV and Stereo to gain access and my question is how are the panels attached? I am thinking velcro or plastic christmas trees. I have tried to remove them but before I damage the trim I am looking for any advise.

Thanks Jim

Jim, did you ever figure this out? I just picked up a 2006 48DA and want to revamp all of the electronics in those cabinets (SAT TV receiver, stereo, etc) and before I start would like to know.

We have a 07 480DA and I just got done replacing our DVD player in the salon and I was able to remove the power cord with out removing the top trim panels. There was some zip ties but I was able to cut them using a flashlight and snips. Just so you know I did need to buy a 9' HDMI cord to reach from the tv to the blu Ray player the first cord was a 6' and it was to short
