New to the forums but I'm taking delivery of my new 06 48DA and need some help on some replacement suppliers. Can anyone help me on the OEM mfg's of the following parts......

1. Need a new table top for the salon as the top is damaged.
2. Need new sun pads. All of our local canvas shops can not make sun pads that recline.
3. Need a swim platform vent as one needs to be replaced
4. Need new wiper blades

Thanks for anyones help!

I can't help you with anything but..... :smt001
Welcome to CSR and Congrats on the new ride.

Sea Ray either makes or controls the supply via non-compete agreements on the sun pad, the table and the platform vents. Once a boat is no longer produced or when Sea Ray decides they have too much inventory, they will sell off the excess. Flounder Pounder Marine is right down the road from the Florida plants, so if any of this is available other than thru a Sea Ray dealer, it will be there.

I have found commercial truck wiper blades work on my boat...and $18 sure beats $65 at the dealer.

Here is most of them

1. Sorry Can't Help.
2. Gioa Sails. Ask for Nancy.
3. Florida Bow thruster. I don't have the number handy, but you can search.
3. This sucks. $300 for the arms (replaced 1 so far) and about $70 for a blade. I ended after days of searching going to Marine Max. If you find them cheaper pm me. I need two new ones again and I keep them covered.

Hope this helps.

Ken

For wipers and arms go to www.directbus.com. Lots cheaper than MM or any other replacement provider. Call them if you can't find your specific size on their web page.

Thanks guys, this is my second boat through MM in the last year so they are working with me on some of the parts. Just trying to find cheaper ways to fix the salon table ($2k @mm) and $999 for the sun pads. The rest of the items are pretty minor.

Bottom Line, i actually live in springfield so table rock is closer to me but i grew up at loto so im still a little bias.

Cool...I live in Springfield too. What this a brokered boat or one they took in on trade? Where do you keep your boat at LOTO? What did you have before the 48DA? What color hull does your new boat have?

I love walking the docks at MM/Port Arrowhead at LOTO...there are so many huge boats there. A little different than on Table Rock.

It was brokered, pewter hull, not my first choice but the price was right and the boat is hard loaded. The last one was a 40da and i kept her at arrowhead. prob do the same with this one.

Nice jump in size. A guy on our dock did the exact same thing last fall. Went from a 05 390DA to an 05 48DA with Pewter hull. The 48 is a sweet boat.

Did you sell your 40DA before you bought the 48DA?

For the wiper blade, go to a trucking supply store with your current blade in hand.

Tell them you need a blade for a Ford “L” series truck.

Use your current blade to match the size.

Yeah lucked out and found a buyer in Chicago. It was tough finding a buyer for the gas mercs. Which is why i went ahead and jumped into the 48. A 44 with cummins wasnt much less then the 48 i found.

Is your new boat getting bottom paint at MM at LOTO? I had to go to a funeral visititation tonight in Osage Beach and went to MM afterwards. I saw a 48DA with pewter hull...and it looked like it was getting bottom paint. I think the boat name was Blame III. If that is yours...great looking boat.

No that guy is a couple slips down from me. Basically the exact same boat though. I think his is an 05' with teak upper.

Also does anyone know of a 3rd party who makes cockpit tables? Sea Ray wants 2k for a stinking fiberglass table!!! I'll hold my dam drink for 2k!

You could ping Nehalennia aka Todd. He had one made for his boat.
It looks really nice !!. :smt001

You could probably get a local Cabinet shop to make or repair your table for a few hundred.

Thats what im going to do for the salon table and was thinking about having one built out of teak for the cockpit but am still unsure of where to get the hardware for the mount.

I like to go to boat shows and get parts for my boat off the boats on display.....Only problem is there is no warranty...Seriously, there was a couple of great threads on tables...Congrats on the best boat searay makes
