480 DB Owners Club

I wish the house was mine. Our marina is up against a beautiful community.

D.C., both Bahamabreisus and I are located at Harbour Village in Hampstead. Truly the best group of friends ever. Marina has fuel and pumpout, but no hauling. We go up stream about a mile for the boatyard. We also use our boats year round which is nice.

DC. Let me know when you are ready to come down and start looking. We will gladly take y'all out for a tour of the area and the options available. NC has a lot of different personalities based on your boating needs and you would want to match those up.

Still in original boxes. My garage is getting full of stuff I don't need. call me 832-640-7006. chuck

Hey Guys, What are your thoughts about using a Novurania 400DL as a tender? Looking for others thoughts? Do you guys think it would be to heavy on the back? What is everyone else running? Currently we carry a non-console dinghy, however we would like something which could pull tubes etc. What do you guys carry on the back and what about weight? We have the hydraulic platform as well.

Wow, I was thinking you guys would have an opinion...any thoughts would be appreciated.. guess everyone is too busy getting things ready for the season..

I didn't get the email notification but I'm no help. I run a non-console RIB trying to keep it as light as possible back there.

I just wonder what the overall impact would be.. Given the torque these boats have... Trying to get others experience with having 800lbs on the back.. how has it changed the performance if at all of the boat...

I carry a sea doo spark on a non hydraulic platform and use a hurley Davit with 2 people to pull it up. About 400 #s and gives me the power to pull tubers and skiers. Obviously different than a tender but works well for our purposes.

My friend with a 480DB runs am 11' Yachtline full console RIB with a 30HP 4 cycle outboard on it. It's a pretty heavy rig. He alternates between that and a full size three man PWC. He says he doesn't notice much difference with or without these things on the platform.

Yeah but I ran away from him leaving Rock Hall last year!

Can't comment on any additional weight for a console dink, I run with a 10' RIB and 9.9 Merc. Actually just traded in a 2004 Zodiac 10' RIB for a new 10' RIB, can't wait to splash and get new dink delivered.

Does anybody know how to remove the salon upholstered speaker grilles? I don't have the Bose system so there are two in the ceiling over the sink and dinette plus one in the back corner behind the sofa. I pried pretty hard on one and was afraid it was going to break.
