My guess is the one behind the helm is more exposed and probably gone bad and it is on the load side of the circuit causing the one in the bilge to pop. Easy test is when it (bilge) pops see if you have power on the helm one still. If not that shows it is load side and probably your issue. It is more exposed to the elements and probably gone bad.
And I did just wash the boat so it may have got wet or have moisture in it. Makes sense! Thanks Grant!

It's always something. We went on a long run yesterday and when docked started to relax. Decided to check the bilge and what do I see, fuel all under the starboard engine. No indication of any problem while I was running so I was very surprised. Damn high-pressure fuel line went bad. The compression fitting on the pump side spewing fuel like crazy. Anyone know the Cummins part number for this thing?

When I looked up my ESN's on Cummins Quick Serve site it appears to be P/N 4943247 Tube, Injector Fuel Supply.

My freshwater system is winterized (I think)
Blew out all of the fresh water system using the same fitting that I use for my sprinkler system ,just needed a male/male adapter and my compressor at 25psi
PXL_20201024_191155316.jpg

My list:
Hot water heater emptied and bypassed.
Bilge washdown
Transom washdown
Cockpit sink
Windshield washer
Anchor washdown
Master head
VIP head

Hot and cold:
Kitchen sink
Master bath sink
Master shower
VIP sink
VIP shower
Transom shower

Took the line that runs from the deck freshwater fill to the pump off and blew that out
Took the line that runs from the pump to the manifold out and emptied that.

Will do the drains, sump and blackwater tank next weekend when I top off my tanks.

Strange.. did you sand the mating surfaces and re-torque? Sounds like a little rust or corrosion on a mating surface. Also they have to line up the tapered flanges to get the clamping pressure needed.

Damn... that’s a lot of work. God bless Florida living.

Wasn't as bad as it sounds.
Posted the list in the hopes someone would tell me I got them all or I missed something.

Cool, beats gallons and gallons of pink stuff. Where did you hook up the fitting? The city water inlet? One location and then went systemically and opened each valve? Also, what’d you use to bypass the hot water tank?

First I attached a garden hose to the hose tap on the bottom of the hot water heater. Opened up that tap and drained the whole system. Then i disconnected the blue and red hoses and connected them with a couple of pex to male npt fittings and maybe 6" of pex pipe between them. Just because I'm anal, I took my shop vac to the bottom of the hot water heater and sucked out the last bits of water.

Then, exactly as you said, attached the compressor fitting to the city inlet and went systematically throughout the boat and blew out each location. I did it twice front to back just to make sure.

Then I dealt with the deck inlet and piping to the pump and manifold.

I'll add the fittings here in a few.

What do you all do with your AC cooling lines? Do you have to blow them out also?

Having the boatyard do the A/C systems. I think they flush them with the pink stuff. Will report back after they do it.

I used to use an old fire extinguisher (think the old shiny reflective commercial ones) filled with pink stuff and hook it up to the thru hull when the boat was out of the water. The extinguisher was ‘charged’ so I’d just discharge it until pink came out of the discharge port. Always worked great - somehow lost that extinguisher and have had the yard do it ever since.

Funny I noticed the same thing. Thanks Mitch.
I'll be attending to that this week (even though it's empty..)

My slip is on a T-head. I put the boat Port side to which is where my AC cooling water discharges are. I use the dock water hose to blow back through the AC discharge (using a rag as a make-shift seal). I have the AC seacock closed and the strainer top open. I push clean dock water back through the AC lines, into the bilge, the bilge pump kicks and and brown chocolate water comes pouring out. (I slip in fresh water). I do this through several cycles of the bilge pump kicking on and the discharge water runs "clear". Then, I use the shop vac to clean out the bilge area where the AC seacock it. This I have a bilge pump hooked to a 12 volt battery, and I pump Pink from a buck from the dischare on the side of the boat back to the the AC seacock. When the bilge pump spits out pink, I stop. I vacuum out the bilge and then do the other AC discharge (I have 2 AC systems, but only 1 seacock). Very simple and uses very littly Pink.

My AC units discharge through the common drain on my starboard side. I don't think I can do something like that.

Thanks Tom! And yes, confirmed as part number 4943247. I'll be ordering two so I have a spare.
I may be wrong but does it not depend on which fuel line it is? I had to replace one this summer and had to make sure I ordered “#6”. Also, they redesigned them with an anti vibration fitting attached so it will look different.
