Fairly new to me 460DA seems to be listing slightly to port. Double checked my survey and no moisture readings came back suspect. Is it possible that because galley systems, washer dryer, fridge, other miscellaneous items are on the port side it is causing this list?

Haven't found any similar threads so wanted to post this here and see if anyone had any advice on this.

Had a stability test done on the boat for some certification we needed and they listed in the report that it lists 1.4 degrees and took 607 lbs to get it back to 0.0 degrees.

I think mine is similar. Fresh water tank is 100 gallons at 8lbs/gal. And is on the port side. Empty it and see if it corrects the issue.

This bothered me for a little while and like you, I had the moisture readings rechecked. My theory is all the cabinets and countertops and appliances are on the port side. I will say this, I have done my best to store any other heavy items on the stbd side to attempt to compensate but frankly most of the storage on this boat is to port as well.

I'm interested to see if anyone else chimes in.

Mine has a list to port as well. Particularly aggravating as it impedes the water from draining in the shower stall

Too much beer in the cockpit fridge???? Never mind, that's not possible.

Not sure about the 460DA but I have fuel tanks outboard of my engines. Running the generator, which pulls off my stbd tank, for a weekend can cause a list.

FWIW when working on my 550DA, behind the cockpit fridge and ice maker, I found something that I can only explain as factory installed ballast bags in the gunwale. Looks like several small sand bags. Not near the weight discussed here but might be something to check for port to remove or stbd to add, although i hate to recommend adding weight for no reason.... Perhaps fixing something that might be driving you nuts is not "no reason".

Side note, on the Sea Ray facebook group I saw a flooring ad posted with pictures of a 550 named Unleashed with the eva foam flooring installed , must be yours? It looks fantastic

Ryan,
I hate to admit it but I'm not on Facebook so haven't seen it. I did get Aqua Marine Deck (competitor to SeaDek) flooring last summer. Time will tell as to how durable. They are a fairly new company located near me (Buford, Ga). I started out showing the owner (Thomas) what I would not accept regarding quality, as I am a little picky. He stepped up and met all expectations.:smt038:smt038:smt038

During my buying process I had a 2002 460 surveyed that had the list to port. No moisture issues but no explanation. That deal fell apart for other reasons. I looked at two others and neither had the list. One with the washing machine the other without. The parts manual shows the water tank on the starboard side. The fuel and holding tanks are on both sides. So if they are balanced that should not have an effect. Sorry I know this does not help.

Where is the water tank? I haven't seen mine anywhere and assumed it's below the fill plate on the port side.

My parts manual shows it on the starboard side in the area of the guest head. The schematic is not real precise.

Same issue, the shower drain is annoying. The water tank is center line,
can reach the end of the tank in the bilge under the rear sofa

My 460 also has a slight list to port with no moisture. I've considered adding weight to stbd, but would rather live with a slight list. I agree that I think it is just the configuration of the boat puts more weight to that side.

Mine also lists to Port. Seems to get better when the water tank level goes down.

I agree that it is worse when the water tank is full. I'm not sure why - it is my understanding that while the fill is on the port side, the tank is more or less centered, under the floor...

I’ve noticed my 04 lists a little to port side and have been racking my brain as to why. Have anyone here figured it out ?

Never have figured it out. You could add weight to the stbd side or underfill the port fuel tank if it bugs you. It bothered me more before I read that it is fairly common on this boat and everyone seems to list to port.
