460 Shaft size

My boat is 1,000 miles from me, and I would like to buy new shaft seals to take down and change.

Can anybody please help with the shaft size and stern tube size on a 2002 460 DA

Hope you can read the following. YOu are interested in part #'s 11 and 12. The new seal assay has to be ordered by the shaft tube diameter (3.5")and the shaft diameter (2"), although the parts list doesn't list a shaft option for the Volvo engine package. You might want to email Sea Ray customer Service to verify that.

Are there any special tips to assist in getting the shafts out of the couplings.

A slide hammer type shaft puller is almost mandatory. The coupler/shaft are tapered, so once you get it to move any at all, it pretty much slides right out.
