I've looked at a 450 EB that has some issues. The dinnet table in the galley is missing, as is the engine room ladder. Anyone know where I could get those?

Also the cherry wood veneer in the galley has delaiminated in some spots. Is this repairable? How? Replcement? How expensive?

Thanks!

PS current boat is for sale

Nice model. I like those and there seem to be some good deals on them around. I have no experience just offering my thoughts on your dilemma.

The dinette table I believe you can get one made for you and buy the post and mount from a marine supply store. I believe on the site here hack4alivin had a new cockpit table made by a friend. I would guess the cost would depend on the type of wood used. Also not sure but does that table act as a filler to the dinette to convert it into a berth or is is just a table. I've seen some pics of models where they actually have an ottoman there and use that as a foot rest. I've seen few with tables in place so I wonder if you really need it.

As for the cherry wood veneer. Restoration Marine (I believe they are a site sponsor here) carries the sheets for replacement and I believe they are a factory match. But be mindful, I believe FourSunns created an outstanding replacement for his forward stateroom TV install (there is a thread on it). He mentioned that his veneer from the factory was different then what he order from them... But usually they should match, just something to be aware of.

Then onto you ladder issue. That to me would be tough to find. Have you tried calling www.fpmarine.com. They might have or know the original manufacturer of the ladder. Being in the heart of Lancaster County here there are many machine shops that could built one for me if given the specs.

The above is a good start. The ladder issue is probably pretty easy to solve, I am willing to bet Sea Ray still uses a similar ladder that would work on some new boats. Give them a call and ask, they might even have one.
