Funny story. I bought this boat last year knowing the AC had an issue. I had a mechanic check it out and he told me I need a new unit, $4500. Short time later after I familiarized myself with the system, I found that the reversing valve was not actuating quoted $900 to have it replaced. After a little more research I found out that the valve is probably OK but the power board controlling it is shot $400 new from Cruisar. Then I found a place that will repair and guarantee the board for a flat fee of $95. After talking to some folks on this site as well as the folks from Cruisair at the Atlantic City Boat Show I was told it was a bad triac that switches and supplies current to the valve that is bad. A very common issue with these, mine looked toasted. I removed the board hit the triac with a soldering iron, took the part number off it went on Ebay found a ton of people selling them. One guy was selling them for $5.50 ea. free shipping or best offer. I offered him $4. I installed it on the board already. Now I may have jinxed myself because I have not tested it yet but everyone so far has assured me that's the problem. :smt038
