The narrative is lame, but footage is amazing.

"Kabun" beached.

Poor guy. I feel bad...

It's amazing how ignorant people are to the cost of new boats.

Yep... that Zodiac on the back is $25K itself!

Like the narrator said, I'm surprised it hasn't been looted!

So... will the tide come back in enough at some point to help this guy out?

I couldn't even listen to the guy anymore. The head fan is on and he thinks its running, along with its outdrives.

I wonder what the shore power was plugged in to. I noticed a big Rigid box on the aft deck....surely not....a portable....say it ain't so...

Terrible to see. A lot of money just sitting there.

I haven't seen anyone on here with solar panels and a wind turbine on their boat!:wow::lol:

That would explain why the boat still has power. The owner wasn't a total dope, just unlucky. I wonder how he did in Vegas.

The poor b@stard is now homeless.Hope he did well in Vegas.

Jack,
I don't think he's homeless. His "home" now sits on a foundation.............of sand!!!:smt043

In all seriousness though, poor guy. that sucks!

A sistership is listed on b0ater.c0m for $139,000.

Too far for the bums to carry stuff to the getaway vehicle!.....It's a shame it's just sitting there waiting for water and a good owner!....Mike.

I don't know who should be more embarrassed. The fool who left his boat "moored" offshore or the buffoon narrating the video.

Looks like they got the boat off the beach. Here is the video.

Wow I bet that was expensive......and I am suprised there were not some tree huggers protesting the salvage guys moving all that sand!

Here's how you remove it:

I owned a construction equipment repair business down in Beaufort, Sc. I got a call from Hunting Island maintenance depart asking us to resue a dozer that blow a hydraulic hose on the beach. We had 6 hours until high tide. We needed to repair the machine or prep it to become the next coral reef. We were able to get the hose replaced and the machine off the beach before the ocean claimed ownership.

Lot's of money sitting in the sand just waiting to be captured by the ocean.
