After sandy I noticed my salon sliding door is not closing properly . Anyone know how to get to the rollers above the door ? Looks like the decorative piece in the salon at the top of the door comes offf but I can't figure out how ,

Thanx

Rob

I have the same issue with my 2004 420 DA. Did you find a way to get the door back on the track?

Rob, that Assembly was made by Teak Isle Mfg, in Ocoee Florida. I needed parts and contacted them. They were very helpful and can probably tell you how that assembly comes apart.

Rob, I never got to it on my 44, but here is what SR technical service had to say.....

To remove the pocket door ... from the galley side, you will need to remove the wood frame from the door way, the screws are clearly visible in the frame. Then with the frame removed, there is a vinyl covered header, ... simply pull down on the header to remove. In some cases there may be screws on either side of the header. If so, at the vinyl seam, it will be tucked into the separation area. Pull the vinyl back to reveal the screws. With the header removed, ... slide door into the opening and loosen the trucks (rollers) at the top of the door, ... then remove the door pulling it out toward the galley. Please feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions.

Cheers,
