I have had a forward head vacuum failure and I want to buy a maintenance kit in advance of fixing the problem. Even though I have spent a few hours in front of my starboard engine replacing a series of battery chargers (whole other story) I am not sure which VG I have. Is it the low profile (VG3) one or the VG2? My 420 is a '96.
