420 DA - Dash lights & Dimmer

My Dash lights dont work. Where should i start to look? I checked the dimmer andplayed with it but nothing. Gauges dont light either.

Helm lights are switched with the nav lights. Power then is fed to the dimmer, then to the various instruments. Pull the panel and check that power is supplied when the nav lights are on. Then check that there is power to the dimmer and that the dimmer outputs a varying voltage when rotated. Then check the main splice from the dimmer. Since everything is out, it must be one of these parts or wires that's in common.

Are your ignition keys in the on position? On my boat this is necessary for all instrument lights to come on, including smartcraft.

Yep - Ignition Keys on, Nav Lights on, i will start the search. Thanks for the input.
