Looking at a 2000 SR 420 Aft Cabin with twin Cummins diesels.
Having a hard time finding fuel burn rate...any suggestions? - Boyd

Just as a wild stab to get you started, I'm going to guess that it burns about 35 gph total, but cruises below 25 mph. You'll probably get about .65 mpg. Now, let the experts weigh in. (My guesses are for your actual performance, not boat test results.)

Thanks fellas'
We looked at the 420ac at a boatshow this past weekend. I liked the boat...a lot, but to my surprize my wife went ga-ga for it, and this is from somebody that swore she'd never own a powerboat!
One other concern I have about the boat is hull integrity, are all of the 420ac models and years balsa cored?
Any areas that should be carefully examined during a survey?
Thanks again - Boyd

All 420ACs are cored bottom, as are all boats built in SR's Palm Coast facility (HIN SERPxxxxxx).
