Hi there,
Has anyone replaced their Canvas on the 420/440 Sundancer.
Looking to do the same and just wondering if anyone can share their experience with the company they chose.

Thanks very much.

I just replaced mine in October. I used Admiral Marine Canvas in Baltimore, MD and also Canvas Experts in Ocean City, MD. They both worked on it, I originally contacted Admiral but their installer got hurt so he called his friends at Canvas Experts. I used EZ2CY for the front curtains and added three large sections of Stratoglass for the aft curtains. I also added mesh screens that zip in place to block the sun. The canvas is Sunbrella's Taupe color to match the pewter hull. I'm extremely happy with the end result.

That looks really great.
Couple of questions.
1) What was the cost of the canvas job?
2) Where did you get the cockpit table. It looks great.

I am going to contact them as I believe they would still have the patterns.

Have you ever thought of raising the back canvas to allow a person to sit there while the canvas is on.? It would be nice to have that option.
Thanks for the reply.

The cost was roughly $5200 total, $2,600 for the front curtains and same for the aft canvas. I changed a few things up with the hardware, so it won't match up to your existing hardware. Give them a call and see what they say.
Here's the info on the cockpit table http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/39010-Teak-Cockpit-Table?highlight=table

I never thought about raising the aft canvas, I'm happy with the wasy it is.
