420/440 7.4l

We have a 1991 420/440 DA and it needs a new flywheel ring gear on the starboard engine (7.4L gas). I know that this is a very difficult job; any helpful hints/suggestions?

Access will be the hard part.
i don't know your boats layout but, bet pulling the engine out is the way to go..
Then, it's an easy job.
