42 foot Pilot boat in 30 foot seas

cool and yet unsettling video. however, those are NOT 30' seas. 10-12 maybe, but not 30.
 
Heck I was in that last week in the chessie. Those look like 5-7 footers with some larger rogues.
 
For music, I think I would have gone with "Yellow Submarine."

That's about how my trip up the bay felt this weekend... ok not quite. We did come out of the water a couple times. Traveling at about 25 knots
 
LOL atleast we are all in agreement....

I did see a video below this one with a cargo ship in LARGE WAVES... That looked like a ride....

The first video was weak. Definitely not 30'ers. 40' boat? might question that too.

the second video looks good, but I got to say that I think the camera angle and video/ computer editing/ embellishing add much to a probably ho-hum reality.
 
That's an average day in NYC harbor. :lol:
