Has anyone been on the 2013 or 2014 model? Interesting boat, and looks pretty solid. Curious to hear likes and dislikes.

One dislike I have without even stepping on board is annual haul out for the pod drives. Expensive and inconvenient if you are wet year long. I wish they offered this boat, and other similar models with diesel v drives.

I'm not sure if it's the 41, or the next model up, but the steering wheel is centered between the split 50/50 double helm seat bolsters. So, if you like sitting up on top of your bolster, they both have to be up, and you need to be centered over where they meet.

I looked at a 38 and a 48 2014 and saw a 41 in Sausalito. Pretty nice and they took us out on the 48. Fun playing with the pods!

I know enough about these pods to be dangerous. I talked to a large yacht management company here in SD and the manager said annual haul out to service the pods is required. And if you don't do it, the warranty is void. Cost: 4 to $5k. He has also seen these things go haywire in regards to the computer systems which of course are very expensive to resolve. He said the brokers never mention any of this to the customers when they are in the purchasing process. Pods allow everyone to be an instant docking expert, so these things are apparently here to stay.

Are your comments specific to one brand? Is the annual haul required for both volvo's system and mercruiser alike?
