Well a miserable easter (weather wise - Sydney Australia)

Anyway, trying to do some homework on repowering my boat since I have the gassers..
Even if I spend $AUD100k I will still be priced very competitively to boats of my size and vintage.
(2003) in my country..(mostly Riviera's)

For all of you with 400db's or Sedan bridge boats near this size what is?

1: your WOT speed ( I get $24knots with the gassers)
2: Cruising speed
3: fuel usage at cruising (for both engines)
4: What make and size of engine

I am trying to calculate how many engine hours I need to do to recoupe my costs

I looked at this option repower a few years ago It was cheaper to sell the boat and buy a diesel boat. It would cost more than 100K. you need gear box, new shafts props and new genset maybe new fuel tanks, There will be some modification to mountings, electronic engines can cost upward of aud40,000 with electronic instruments etc. The list goes on and on. Unless you are planning to do more than 150hrs/year hang on for a few years and buy a diesel or by then bio fuel. I am located at cabarita marina in sydney. I also investigared V8 diesel made in sweeden that would fit into petrol mounts but did not get far
