400 Sedan Bridge Fuel Burn

Anyone have any good data on the fuel burn rate at cruise & hull speeds with twin Cummins 450s? I'm looking at a couple ('01 & '02).

I have some friends who have this boat with cat3126 (which I have also) and they get around 16-18 gph at slow cruise and around 20gph at reg. cruise. You could ,I brlieve expect quite a bit higher usage with the cummins as they are 8 cyl. A GUESS would be in the 25-28 range. Hopefully someone replies who actually knows. Great boat layout in my opinion

Here's a link to the Cummins fuel curves for the engines: http://www.cmdmarine.com/Products/Recreational%20Inboard/6C/fr90215.pdf. Looks like 15 gals/hr per engine at cruise which is about 80% of WOT RPMs and 3 gals/hr per engine at likely hull speed.
