This is a 1996 400 Sedan Bridge with Cat 3116 Diesel Engines. It has been well cared for in a freshwater environment.
Originally owned by singer George Jones, this vessel has had many upgrades. Most recently a new bottom job this last winter, along with new shaft seals. The carpet has been replaced with hardwood, which is a java color. Some of the pics show a cherry color, but it is more brown than cherry. The steps to the galley have been redesigned with a second step to make going up and down to galley easier and more comfortable than the large original single step. The pic of the guest stateroom shows a spot on the pillow, it is just a shadow.
A new bimini top and clear vinyl has been added about 3 years ago. This includes clear vinyl covers for the cockpit area to make an enclosed area that can be heated or air conditioned. A Kenwood sound system has been installed, and original TVs have been replaced with flat panels. A flat panel has also been installed on the bridge. A Vitrifrigo refridgerator/freezer installed within last three years, as well as a new microwave. And as a bonus, the original blender on the boat works as well - it's five o'clock somewhere.
Many maintenance activities have been performed to keep this vessel in top condition. Some of those are: fuel fill hoses replaced, as well as the head pump out hose. All head system hoses forward of main hose to holding tank have been replaced. The generator platform has been replaced with coosa board, and the generator rails have been replaced with custom extended rails to allow the weight of the generator to rest on the stringers. This was a flaw with the original design of the boat. A ProMariner battery charger has been installed. Bridge hatch underside painted and seal replaced.
Engines have between 1200 and 1300 hours. They run very well and we use the boat all year long on the lake. The hull was painted by the PO by Spry Marine on Pickwick Lake. The paint is well applied and has no issues. It requires minimal maintenance and always looks good.
Please PM me if you are interested. Asking $115K for this diesel engine boat that is very well maintained. Will consider reasonable offers.
